The Tapsters

  • The Tapsters 2019 is open for entries!

Think your place has the best beer & cider team in the country? Prove it!

The Tapsters, the nation’s liveliest bar team competition, returns in partnership with UKHospitality, Nicholson’s and Euroboozer/Stiegl.

This contest champions people around the country who not only know their beers and ciders but also understand how to look after them, and how to serve and sell them.

Entries can come from one establishment, or from a group, so gather up a team of four and appoint a Captain. Pubcos and restaurant groups can enter more than one team. While the individuals involved in the 2017 and 2018 Final are not eligible to enter, their companies are welcome to enter a different team.

The victors will win an all-expenses paid trip to Salzburg, Austria, to visit the 525-year old brewery, Stiegl.

Beer sommelier Annabel Smith will MC the Final at Imbibe Live on 1 July, with both the audience and an expert panel led by award-winning writer Pete Brown casting their votes.
