Alexis noble is an Australian chef who opened her first restaurant Wander in Stoke Newington late last year. Wander has been born out of Alexis’ love of food, travel, Spotify playlists, Spring Court sneakers, and Pantone 805c.

For the past 10 years Alexis has worked and staged at some of the world’s most interesting restaurants.

In 2012, having worked in Sydney restaurants such as Restaurant Balzac and Bar H,  Alexis decided to spread her wings, ending up living and working in San Francisco, New York, London and Rome. After returning to Sydney and spending some time at LuMi, Alexis decided to return to London to open Wander.

Having spent 10 years working 16 hour days in macho, male dominated, aggressive kitchens, she wanted to open a restaurant that allowed her and her friends to create, inspire and have fun, whilst listening to Childish Gambino.

Wander is a casual, modern Australian restaurant that has been created through a combination of its staffs cultures, travels and experiences. Guests are encouraged to wander through a constantly changing, seasonal menu that expresses our influences and memories.

Wander has a strong focus on sustainable and seasonal produce, and where possible support small, local purveyors, with the menu changing very regularly depending on seasonal availability.
