Have you ever created a garnish that makes your serve stand out from the crowd, something that brings drink innovation to the forefront? Have you ever had an inventive drink display idea that would elevate it to artistic levels?
Applications are now open for all who want to create the next piece of drinks innovation in the industry. Imbibe Live has teamed up with Food & Drink innovation agency Juicy Brick* to run a ‘Dragons’ Den-style competition’ around creating an original new way to display a drink. Applicants have the opportunity to win 2 days of working in person with the renowned innovation team at Juicy Brick's kitchen space in Vauxhall to bring their winning idea to life in the format of a live, kitchen, prototype with marketing + brand strategy to support making the concept a reality. The prize is worth £5,000.
Open to everyone attending or exhibiting, whether you are an existing bartender, brand ambassador, waiter, chef or drinks aficionado – here is the chance to bring that great idea for the drinks space to life. Shortlisted entrants will get the chance to pitch their ideas to an industry panel of food, drink and hospitality experts live at the show with an audience vote for the winner.
Parameters of the brief – ‘no liquid’, we're not looking for cocktail recipes here –think more garnishes/ accessories/ drink related or inspired products/ edibles or added value packing items….bring your most creative self and give us your blue sky briefs to make a drink an Instagrammer's dream.

Juicy Brick and Imbibe Live are collaborating to launch the Juicy Innovator of the Year competition with the aim of providing an innovative outlet for the UK’s most creative and passionate individuals within the drinks industry. Juicy Brick wants to encourage hospitality professionals to make their creative product concepts, drink serve focus, into a reality. Some of the very best and most exciting concepts have been born in world-class bars and restaurants, and we want to provide an opportunity to help develop an exciting, well thought through concept, which you can then own and hero.
To enter, applicants must complete the below entry form on or before the 31 May 2022. This will include product usage, paired serves, sustainability output etc. Our handpicked panel of experts will then blindly review and shortlist the top six concepts ahead of Imbibe Live at Olympia London. The panel bring together great experience in innovation, hospitality, creativity and foresight providing a vast wealth of drinks industry knowledge. The six shortlisted entrants will then be contacted the Imbibe Team and must be available to attend the Imbibe Live event on 5 July 2022 to present your concept to the audience who will do a live vote for the winner of the Juicy Brick Innovator of the Year.
Complete the following entry form answering details about your innovative product idea by 31st May 2022. Our hand-picked panel of experts will review & select the top 6 concepts, who will then be invited to the show to pitch their idea.
