Champagne Venoge

Henri-Marc emigrated from his native Canton of Vaud to Champagne and created ‘de Venoge & Cie’ in 1837 with his son Joseph.

Le Cordon Bleu was adopted as a symbol of the House, in reference to the Venoge river and the order of the Holy Spirit, the most famous order of chivalry of the French monarchy.

From 1838, Henri-Marc is responsible for a real ‘marketing’ revolution by creating the very first illustrated label in the history of champagne!
