Britvic Capture

Imbibe Live exhibitor and leading mixer brand Britvic is delighted to announce that its recently-reformulated Indian Tonic Water has been awarded the highest accolade possible by the renowned International Taste and Quality Institute, winning a prestigious Three-Star Superior Taste Award.

A judging panel of 135 taste experts put tonics to the test in a blind tasting, declaring the updated tonic as ‘exceptional’ – and since it’s industry launch in October 2016, the new recipe has received the thumbs up in the on-trade too. A recent bartender tasting at leading Liverpool bar, Berry & Rye, also saw the liquid get a ‘big thumbs up’ for value, with the panel stating that ‘you don’t expect a quality tonic cheaper than Fever Tree’ and that it would be ‘good for G&Ts’. The taste was described as ‘really good. You can taste the quinine and it’s nice and dry on the finish. There are big notes of orange and nice small bubbles’.

You’ll be able to put it to the test yourself at Imbibe Live stand E60, and as consumers around the country are really starting to put more thought into their tonic as well as their gin, Imbibe Live reckons it’s well worth taking the time to check it out.

‘With Britvic Mixers’ longstanding heritage as part of the fabric of the UK’s hospitality scene, we were determined to make sure we got it right with the reformulation of the new Indian Tonic Water,’ said Kevin McNair, GB marketing director at Britvic. ‘This award shows that we’ve done just that and we’re thrilled the trade are noticing the improved quality and great value the new Britvic Indian Tonic Water offers.’
