The world of saké – that is, fermented short-grain rice – may seem confusing at first, but a little know-how goes a long way and Imbibe Live is here to help you get better acquainted with the famous Japanese beverage.
An Introduction to Saké – in association with WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) – will help you separate your junmais from your daiginjos, so you can make better use of the product in your own bars and restaurants.
Led by saké expert Honami Matsumoto, it promises to be a fascinating and insightful session. Matsumoto has been working with saké for nearly 15 years and is a WSET-certified educator for Saké Level 1 & 3 as well as a Kikisakeshi-qualified sake sommelier. She is also an International Wine Challenge (IWC) panel judge in the saké category since 2015 and has her own company, House of Saké, a London-based agency specialising in saké PR and education.
Household name WSET provides top class training in wine and spirits, so you know you’re in safe hands here. Kanpai!
