Spice Drops

Spice Drops by Holy Lama will be ‘dropping’ on stand F43 at Imbibe Live – and they promise to help overhaul your cocktail offering and give you the edge over the competition.

These little bottles of pure essences are made using natural ingredients, with no artificial flavourings, preservatives or colours, and no salt or sugar added. They give a powerful kick – for example, just four drops of Spice Drops Lime Zest Extract is the equivalent to the grated zest of one lime.

With festival season upon us, there is no better time to try these out for mobile and event bars. When speed is of the essence and staff may be temporary or inexperienced, these offer a no-mess solution to chopping and grating. Coming in 5ml bottles, there are 31 flavours to experiment with, from classics such as rose, mint, lime or ginger to more adventurous tinctures such as turmeric, saffron or chai spices. Larger 100ml bottles are available in selected flavours for events.

‘We use Spice Drops in some of our food and drink recipes. We find them to be of the highest quality; extremely easy to use and the flavour is completely authentic – just as if using raw ingredients,’ said Vivek Singh, executive chef and CEO of The Cinnamon Club. There’s even an ethical benefit – Spice Drops provides employment opportunities to disadvantaged women in Kerala, south India.
